Institute of Integrated Yoga Therapy was founded and is co-directed & co-owned by Donna Phillips & Mona Flynn. IIYT is a member school of the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) and a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance.
Donna & Mona have been friends and colleagues since 1997. They have taught, studied, and traveled together integrating their common beliefs and passions for health, wellness, and life for over 20 years. They knew that one day they would create a yoga school that was oriented on Yoga Therapy and the integration of their life’s study & this journey would come to be IIYT, an integration of eastern & western modalities, blended together to empower individuals to progress toward improved health and balance.
The Institute of Integrated Yoga Therapy is comprised of 5 schools, training yoga students of all levels and abilities. Our yoga students are guided and mentored through a well-planned, fluid and balanced teacher training curriculum, with great emphasis on the application of yoga therapy to becoming a Certified Yoga Therapist.
The intention of IIYT is to guide the student thru the transformation of becoming a yoga teacher and/or a yoga therapist. This is a deeply intimate journey of the body, soul and spirit, and the unique beauty of the teacher is purely individualized as they take this journey, deepening their knowledge of yoga.
